Day 1 Cape Town

After your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel for check-in. There will then be an orientation meet-up with your guide, which includes bike setup and tour briefing.

A welcome dinner with your bike-guide, will be hosted in African ambiance in the evening.

Day 2 Stellenbosch

The first cycling day will take us on a 30-60km off-road tour. We will be transferred from the hotel to the base of Table Mountain where we will start a cycle tour around the slopes of this natural wonder, heading towards the suburb of Constantia. After riding through the suburban greenbelt trails, the tour will finish at a wine estate for a tasting and platter lunch, before a transfer to the Stellenbosch Winelands B&B to relax before dinner.

Day 3 Stellenbosch

This introduces you to the trails of Stellenbosch, with a 30-50km off-road trail, starting in the Bottelary Hills region. After enjoying the winelands trails, we will stop at a local wine estate for a traditional “boerebraai” lunch and coffee/tea or a wine tasting before heading back to the hotel to relax! Dinner at own leisure.

Get introduced to the trails of Stellenbosch with a 50km holiday ride

Day 4 Stellenbosch

Today's cycle day starts directly from the accommodation in Stellenbosch central. The group will cycle through the leafy suburbs of Stellenbosch town before entering the Jonkershoek nature reserve which is known as the playground for mountain bikers in the area! The trails are well kept and offer a great perspective on “fun” riding in the area.
We will stop for coffee or a wine tasting and lunch, before heading back to the accommodation by bike! Dinner at own leisure.

Day 5 Stellenbosch

Free time. Enjoy exploring the bespoke towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek at own leisure. Return scheduled transfers to Franschhoek are included.

Franschhoek Wine Tram: This hop-on hop-off tour is one of the best ways to discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley – picturesque vineyards, breath-taking scenery, warm hospitality, world-class cuisine, fine wines, and a 300-year history.

Day 6 Stellenbosch

Early morning transfer to Elgin. Home to some of the best mountain biking in South Africa. Today’s trails will include vineyards, mountains, dams, jeep track and single track for kilometres.

Day 7 Cape Town

Today you will be transferred to the quaint suburb of Simonstown. Visit the world-renowned Boulders Beach to view the penguins, before cycling into the Cape Peninsula Reserve. Your efforts will be rewarded with a picnic lunch & wine tasting at the Cape Point Vineyards before returning to Cape Town via bike or car over the iconic Chapmans Peak. Dinner can be taken at the hotel. The evening is yours to relax and unwind after your 40-80km road cycle day.

You will have time at leisure over the next 2 days, to enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer, especially it’s beaches, bars, markets and a variety of outdoor activities, located in and around the Cape Town in close proximity to your hotel.

Day 8: The evening will be spend along the bustling boulevard in Camps Bay

Tandem Paragliding
Tandem paragliding flights are mostly done from Lions Head or Signal Hill inside the beautiful Table Mountain National Park. Tandem paragliding flights generally last anything from 7 to 20 minutes.

Up Cycles
Up Cycles is a bicycle rental business based at the Sea Point Pavilion, on the Promenade. They rent Dutch-style bicycles for exploring the Atlantic Seaboard and surrounds as well as Cape Town CBD. Hourly, half day and full day options are available.
