Day 1 in Stellenbosch

WELCOME TO THE WINELANDS

This morning your rental vehicle will be delivered to your hotel in Cape Town! Depart Cape Town and make your way to the picturesque Cape Winelands. You will stop for a wine tasting and lunch en-route to your accommodation where you will enjoy a Wine & Fynbos Cupcake Pairing – an entirely new range of fynbos-inspired cupcakes to showcase the excellence of Delheim wines. Enjoy an all-new twist on this evergreen favourite, which puts the Cape’s famous Floral Kingdom front-and-centre.

Lunch @ Delheim Wine Farm in their Garden Restaurant or a Riverside Picnic is optional. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to explore Stellenbosch. At night a superb dinner is on the menu.

Day 2 in Stellenbosch

CREATE A CULINARY FEAST

This morning after breakfast your guide will meet you for your full day out in the Winelands.

The day will start on a good note, with a wine tasting at the biodynamically farmed vineyards at Avondale wine estate. Here you will discover the difference in quality when grapes are harvested and tasted according to the lunar cycle. Next up, is a trip to the local market to learn about the locally sourced ingredients on offer. Then it’s time for a heavenly stroll through the famous gardens at the magnificent Babylonstoren, followed by an intimate wine tasting and a chance to stock up on their superb artisanal cheeses and wines.

The day will end at Vrede en Lust Wine estate, where you will enjoy a private cooking class @ the Lust Bistro in the historical Manor House.
