In Windhoek, we’ll take you to collect your car and get you set up. Departing Windhoek, you’ll travel via Gobabis to the Botswana border and from there onto Ghanzi! (Ask us for an overnight in Windhoek)
The small town of Ghanzi is sometimes referred to as the ‘Capital of the Kalahari This is an area known for it’s wildlife viewing, and here you can experience the fascinating world of the San Bushmen as they explain to you how they forage, hunt and find water in this harsh environment.
A TRADITIONAL BUSH LODGE
Tonight’s safari lodge provides a true bush experience with rustic authenticity. It’s overlooks a calcrete pan and floodlit waterhole of extraordinary beauty, surrounded by ancient leadwood trees and frequented by large numbers of indigenous wildlife.
EDGE OF THE OKAVANGO
Today a journey to Maun. Set on the banks of the beautiful Thamalakane River in northern Botswana, Maun is set in spectacular scenery. The starting point for most expeditions into the Okavango Delta, as a result Maun has developed into a bustling metropolis. Activities to do in the area include a ‘Mokoro boat trip’; a renowned riverboat that offers cruises up and down the Thamalakane River; the forest groves of the Maun Game Reserve; and Moremi Game Reserve, home to hippos, lions and rhinos.

HEAD INTO THE WILD
Today you head into the Okavango Delta, to Moremi Game Reserve – one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. With 2 nights, you have ample time to explore and discover the varied terrain & diverse ecosystem. This pristine wilderness includes savannah, winding waterways and dense forest. Out on the delta, you could spot large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, or the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, lion and cheetah. The birdlife is prolific and includes most of the 550 bird species recorded on Botswana’s national bird list.
UNIQUE ISLAND HIDEAWAY
Your camp for the coming 2 nights, is the perfect base to explore the Delta. A piece of paradise in the great water wonderland. You arrive at the tree-filled island via boat and are welcomed to this simple but wild safari camp. Hippos rule the waters around the island, lions are heard across the water, and a Pel’s fishing owl takes up residence in the trees.

KHWAI & MOKORO BOATS
Today’s drive takes you to the Khwai area of the Okavango, along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. This is an unfenced boundary allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season. The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives.

Tucked in the heart of the friendly rural village of Khwai, at the doorstep of the Moremi Game Reserve, this personal place opens the door to a true African experience, offering a pristine immersion into Botswana’s unique nature and culture. A PLACE OF ENCHANTMENT
One of Africa’s best known big game areas, Savuti is a place of enchantment, of beauty, and boasts one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa. Located in the heart of Botswana’s beautiful Chobe National Park, this dynamic wilderness is a sweeping expanse of savannah brooded over by several rocky outcrops, which guard a relic marsh and the dry channel that was once its lifeline.
Visitors to this spectacular area can spot abundant wildlife including elephants, antelope, lion prides, kudu, hyena, cheetah, Cape buffalo herds, and thousands of migrating zebra and wildebeest.
LION HUNTINGS
The camp has become famous for its exceptional game viewing opportunities. In particular, it is famed for lions that hunt and prey on elephants, which are found in abundance in the area!
The camp overlooks the dense Savuti marsh area and all 5 of the Meru-style tented rooms have elevated balconies taking advantage of these views. The large, spacious tents are situated in such a way that they enjoy privacy and exclusivity. For the adventurous, there are outdoor showers where you can cleanse while enjoy the tranquility of the African bush.

WHERE ELEPHANTS PLAY IN THE RIVER
Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park, and elephant and hippo are often spotted roaming around town. Pay a visit to the Sedudu Valley Road, where large dead trees provide temporary homes for leopards. Within Kasane, an ancient baobab tree stands on display, once serving as a local prison. Enjoy a game drive through the park, take a sunset cruise down Chobe River, or take a day trip to the breathtaking Victoria Falls.
STAY AT THE RIVER
Set on the doorstep where four African countries meet (Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia), your safari lodge therefore offers an excellent getaway to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi. The lodge has been recently renovated, matching a magical lodge experience to the spectacular game viewing.
