1 Night in Dar es Salaam

WELCOME TO TANZANIA

On arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, you will be met by our representative after clearing Customs & Immigration formalities, and transferred to the hotel for check in and overnight stay. The day is yours to enjoy the city buzz, friendly people and magical sights of Tanzania’s largest city.

2 Nights at Mikumi National Park

A CHANCE TO SEE SOMETHING BIG

After breakfast, you will be picked-up from the hotel by 4×4 safari vehicle and driven to Mikumi National Park located about 5 hours west of Dar es Salaam.

Mikumi National Park is one of the “biodiversity hot spot” in the country, with mammals, hunderds species of plants and 30 species of butterflies.

Day 2 is yours to enjoy a full day game viewing in the park, with dinner back at the lodge.

3 Nights at Ruaha National Park

EXPLORE RUAHA’S VAST ECOSYSTEM

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ruaha National Park. Enjoy a late lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.

You will spend 2 full days here to fully experience the beauty and magnificence of this unique eco-system. Ruaha National Park is the largest National Park in Tanzania, covering an area of 20,226 sq.km. Due of its size, Ruaha is in a unique position to remain uninterrupted, as it has always been an untouched, pristine eco-system, which in today’s worlds is not only something rare, but truly special.

It is possible to see antelope, hartebeest, topi, reedbuck and at it’s southernmost limit, gazzelle. In addition, Ruaha boasts a healthy population of leopard, lions, cheetah, buffalo, and elephant – not to mention 574 species of birds, thanks to the park’s varied types of vegetation.

EVENINGS BY THE RIVER 3*

Set on one of the most stunning stretches of the Great Ruaha River, you can see game throughout the day from the comfort of your veranda. There is no better location to stay in Ruaha National Park.

After breakfast on day 7, we will take you to Ruaha Msembe Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Dar es Salaam, and ensure a smooth transfer back to your international departure. You might want to consider a beach extension on Zanzibar.
